High Cru Tasting Notes
Pale, bright lemon-yellow in colour. Expressive, pure aromatics led by honey, mangosteen, green grape and fresh pear, layered with delicate jasmine, elderflower and orange blossom, followed by lychee, lemon and a touch of pineapple. Fresh, youthful and distinctive overall. Sweet on the palate but never cloying — the Niagara grape's natural acidity (TA 7.3 g/L) gives good tension that balances the sweetness nicely. At just 5% ABV the wine is light-bodied, drinking almost like freshly pressed Niagara grape juice. The finish retains floral and grapey notes, clean and crisp, and very easy to drink. Overall a playful, fruit-forward aromatic sweet white that pairs low alcohol, high acidity and balanced sweetness.
