High Cru Tasting Notes
Plenty of chocolate aromatics alongside dark fruit, creamy in character, with a touch of green pepper tucked beneath. Pronounced pyrazine notes, very sweet dark fruit and dark chocolate on the nose; tannic with graphite and ink character. A distinctly New World-leaning Cabernet Sauvignon impression, in a warm-climate Chinese style, with clear varietal typicity. Medium pomegranate-red color; green pepper, blackcurrant, vanilla cream and spice aromatics. High acidity, tight, grippy tannin with a fine, sandy texture — green pepper, sweet dark fruit, vanilla cream and woody notes, a light warmth on the finish, bright acidity, and a lingering sweet, fresh-fruit character. Sweet and silky on the palate, well balanced with alcohol nicely integrated.
