Terroir
Lu Wa Village, Deqin County, in the Hengduan Mountains, at an altitude of around 2,700m — among the highest-altitude vineyards in production anywhere.

Winemaking
Hand-picked, then cold-soaked on skins for 24 hours in earthenware vessels before natural fermentation. Aged 14 months sur lie (on lees) in neutral/old oak barrels.

High Cru Tasting Notes
Orange peel and citrus dominate, with pronounced minerality. Well-balanced and elegant on the whole, layered and complex, yet still clean.
