Winemaking
Aged 11 months in a blend of 40% medium-toast new French oak and 60% seasoned French oak, followed by 3 months of bottle integration. The new oak lends structure and subtle spice, while the older barrels wrap gently around the fruit, letting the flavours unfold in layers to a rounded, harmonious finish.

High Cru Tasting Notes
Shangri-La's cool terroir gives fragrant violet, blueberry and fresh red and black plum. The fruit is especially vivid and juicy, with a generally spicy, juice-forward character — fresh, high-acid and lively, with a faint cooling touch of pepper and herbs, and a slightly saline entry. Tannins are silky and fine, with clear, taut structure. A hint of vanilla and toast from French oak underpins it all, with a long finish and a mineral echo.
