Terroir
This Chardonnay comes from Jiangpo Village in Deqin County, part of the Shangri-La wine region (1,700–3,000m), among the highest-elevation vineyards in the world, with a dry climate, abundant sunshine and long daylight hours year-round. This exceptional terroir, at 2,769m, has attracted renowned wineries including Xiaoling, Mingyi and Baozhuang, and wines from the area have received numerous international awards and high scores from critics in recent years. Annual production is fewer than 750 bottles.

Winemaking
Hand-harvested, fermented in 100% second-fill French oak barrels (300L), and aged on its lees for 12 months.

High Cru Tasting Notes
This is the top-tier bottling — around 700 bottles made per year, of which only 300 remain; Hong Kong's full allocation has already sold out. Distinctly oily nectarine character with pronounced minerality and a savoury, saline edge. Not a heavily reductive, French-reduction style with many layers of complexity, but it wins on generous, clean, oily-textured fruit and a fairly long finish.

Oysters, scallops, buttered shrimp, creamy pasta, and similar dishes.
