Terroir
A high-altitude vineyard in Gyalthang (Jiantang), Shangri-La, with a large diurnal temperature range — one of six terroirs in Xiaopu's 'nomadic winery' model.

Winemaking
Made with a low-intervention, natural-wine approach and minimal sulphur (<10mg/L), in keeping with Xiaopu's 'slow wine' philosophy, working in partnership with small local growers.

High Cru Tasting Notes
Well-balanced overall, with tannin and body that reflect the character of Jiangpo Chardonnay nicely. Partial oxidative winemaking also lends some playful floral notes.
